I think more importantly Nascar is taking the first steps to finally put a stop to the irrational and sometimes dangerous and destructive actions of the childish Gordon haters.

Boo whoever you want. Pull for whoever who want, but if you throw objects at people you should fully expect to be arrested, which FINALLY happened today. Long overdue IMO.

This can be pursued as a felony and could result in some serious penalties. Time for Nascar fans to grow up or be treated like law breaking adults. FINALLY

I hate Nascar anymore. I hate the fact that we have all these babies in the sport (Tony Stewart). I hate that they allow foreigners to race, I hate that it's now the Nextel Cup, I hate the new cars, I hate that Toyota is now racing, even though they make most of they're cars in America anymore, but still...Toyota and Nascar does not go good together. I hate the pretty boy image that most the racers try to present, and most of all, I hate Dale Jr. Can anyone add to that list? haha

I miss the good ol' days of NASCAR when if Dale Sr and Mark Martin, or whoever had a beef with each other, they just went behind the trailer and beat the hell out of each other. Nowadays, it's like a soap opera.

Wait and see, Nascar itself is cracking down. I know that the impression was given that it was the choice of the track owner to have those idiots arrested but you can see the change from Nascar. They are now showing the childish behavior (they use to avoid doing so)they are now talking about the childish behavior (they use to avoid it). You can even see that Gordon has been told to address it. Junior has been told to address it. DW was told to address it.

Wait and see if every track (or nearly every track) doesn't start having the punks arrested.

You throw a potentially dangerous object at someone and you should fully expect to spend a little time in jail, pay a nice size fine, and have it on your record that you are a punk.
